Protecting the built + natural environment of Beeston since 1974.

+ improving

We have successfully campaigned for better public spaces and Conservation Areas; liaise and consult with local authorities on planning and development matters; researched local Building of Merit, and saved buildings from demolition. We also have running projects for local green space improvements, tree planting, and wildlife habitat creation.

As well as our regular Coffee + Chat sessions, public meetings, talks, and guided walks, the Society has an annual programme of events including Street Art festival, summer and Civic fairs, and Heritage Open Day.

Beeston Civic Society needs your help so we can continue to plant trees in our local environment.

Many of the trees you see around you in Beeston, Bramcote and Chilwell have been planted by us, with your support we can continue to make Beeston a greener place to live.

Nominate Beeston and District Civic Society when you play Broxtowe Lotto, and help support local causes like us to continue doing the work we do!
