The Civic Society has always planted trees and this year is no exception, and we are also proudly supporting the @TheTreeCouncil’s #ChristmasChallenge22 to get more children planting, caring for & connecting with trees in their schools. All donations made during #NationalTreeWeek will be doubled, meaning your donation will go twice as far!

The Tree Council are hosting two FREE talks on the fascinating world of tree #hiddenconnections
Demystifying the Tangled World of Tree Roots.

Director of Trees, Science and Research, Jon Stokes will be joined by Chartered Arboriculturist and President of the Institute of Chartered Foresters, Sharon Durdant-Hollamby for a fascinating talk on tree roots.
Trees and Fungi Working Together – A Remarkable Relationship.
Thursday 1 December at 7pm
Celebrated academic Professor Martin Bidartondo will join The Tree Council CEO, Sara Lom for a discussion on the mysterious and wonderful world of #mycorrhiza!
