SKATE

Unleash new skateboard skills, or upgrade your talent at one of our workshop sessions led by tutors from Skate Nottingham.

The workshops will be run by 4 qualified instructors and they will lead two two-hour workshops each day starting at 11am and 2pm. Session 4 (2pm 27 May) is for experienced /intermediate skateboarders

The event will conclude with an optional competition for the best trick in the advanced Session 4 slot and a prize of Skate equipment worth up to £75.

Sunday 26 May
Session 1*: 11am / Session 2*: 2pm
Monday 27 May

Session 3*: 11am / Session 4**: 2pm
*Sessions 1, 2, and 3 are for beginners. **Session 4 (2pm 27 May) is for more experienced skateboarders or those with intermediate skills.
Duration: 2 hours
Age range: 7+
Equipment: Skateboards, helmets and all protective equipment will be freely available. If you have your own kit – bring it along! All participants should arrive with appropriate footwear – which includes trainers, gym shoes or plimsolls. Please do not wear sandals (including crocs), flip-flops or other open-toed shoes, or shoes with raised heels or wedges.

WALL ART

Practice your talent at one of our sessions led by pro Street Artist Ivan Bainbridge. Design and create wall art along Pavilion walls with supervision by Ivan.

The workshops will be run and assisted by experienced trainers and they will lead two two-hour workshops each day starting at 11am and 2pm. There will be prizes for the best contribution to the wall art – as judged by Ivan!

Each session will encourage full participation of attendees.
Duration: 2 hours
Age range: All ages and abilities.
Equipment: All equipment will be freely available. Wear suitable clothing/overalls for painting!

RAP

Unleash new rapping skills, or upgrade your lyric style at one of our workshop sessions led by local rap artist Benjamin Whiteman (AKA Kingdom Rapper).

Accompanied by a guitarist, Benji will provide two two-hour workshop sessions each day starting at 11am and 2pm. You’ll chose a theme to create to, and Benji will lead everyone in your session through a rap workshop. You’ll have the opportunity to perform your rap, or have Benji help you with it! There will be prizes for the best contribution to the session – as judged by Kingdom Rapper!

One managed session for a group of up to 12.
Duration: 2 hours
Age range: All ages and ability.
