Beeston Civic inspired and co-funded skate-hub at Beeston Fields Recreation Ground played host to appropriately named ‘Skate Hive’.
Aimed at women, girls, and marginalised genders, this session was tutored by experience skateboarder Jo Wardle from ‘Greatskate’, providing a safe and inclusive environment to explore, practice and have fun skateboarding. Even stacking it was alright.
Well attended by a range of ages the free to attend ‘SKATE Hive’ jam formed part of SKATE Nottingham’s inclusion pilot funded by Sport England.
