Nominations are now open for joining our small team of volunteers who help keep things ticking over.
What’s involved?
One 2 hour Committee meeting per month (in the pub) is your only commitment!
Help in any way you can or wish to:
- attend our walks / talks,
- help set up or man stalls at local events
- post on social media for us
- put posters and leaflets up
- help recruit new members
- find / book interesting speakers
- look for or research heritage buildings for our Local Heritage List
- check weekly planning applications and help submit comments
- IT / technical assistance at our Winter Talks
- meet and greet people at our public events
- assist with website, photography, social media and graphic design
- write Press Releases, blogs or articles for our DIGEST
… there are many, many way to help as a Committee member or volunteer.
Nominated volunteers are elected during our (short) AGM in October.
