Whose design can show us the Dreamiest, Bestest Building ever?

How will it look?
What will it be made from?
What cool things can it do?

If you can draw your dream building, and tell us why it is the BEST you could win a prize.

Your building can be anything:
a house, a workplace, an airport, a shed, a hospital… anything you can imagine!

How to Enter

Step 1: Choose the entry sheet for how you want to draw your design by clicking on the download button below.
1 = A printable PDF
2 = A PNG picture file for drawing on in an app.

1. I want to draw on a print out

(Don’t worry: You can ask your teacher, or Beeston Library reception for a printed sheet if you don’t have a printer).

2. I want to draw on a tablet / laptop / computer

Step 2: Design you building!
Don’t forget to label: what it is made of, the rooms, and the details that make it the COOLEST, best building imaginable!

Step 3: Give your building a title, and include your details on it so we know who drew it and how to tell you if you win!

Step 4: Ask a grown up to take a good photo of your design OR scan it in OR save a copy of the file you created and email it to us:

Judging

All entries will be judged by a group of grown ups who know a lot about cool buildings. They will pick the best one of all.

Prize

There are three prizes: GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE.

Judges will pick the best three building drawings, and each will win a special certificate awarded to you at our Design Awards event in November.

GOLD: artwork will feature on the People’s Choice Award certificate for our Design Awards 2025 and you and your family will be special guests at our Awards event in November.
