How to Build Heritage: Architectural Legacy – today + Tomorrow

Venue:
Royal British Legion (RBL) Social Club is on Hall Croft, Beeston, NG9 1EL

The RBL licensed bar will be open throughout the event.

How to get there:
On foot / by bike: access via West End, or Chilwell Road via pedestrian only alley, next to
Cycle Inn cycling shop.
Public Transport: Trent Barton and NCT buses and NET tram stops are located very close
by, on Chilwell Road – and in easy walking distance at Beeston Interchange.
Car: accessible via West End and Dovecote Lane (signposted from War Memorial on
Middle Street). Parking is available on site. Drivers should take care negotiating the narrow
Hall Croft.

What is Heritage Open Days?

Heritage Open Days is England’s largest community led festival of history and culture, involving thousands of local volunteers and organisations. Every year in September it brings people together to celebrate their heritage and culture. Stories are told, traditions explored, and histories brought to life. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.

Heritage exhibitors, creatives + producers wanted!

As part of the event, we wish to include exhibitions and stalls by local organisations, groups, producers, and interested parties – perhaps those who’d like to be involved in Heritage Open Days but are not able to host an event themselves.

Do you have traditional or heritage craftsmanship skills for building and landscaping (e.g. pargeting, lime rendering, dry stone walling), or are an expert in local heritage or building conservation and would like to exhibit or sell your products?

We would like to invite you / your organisation to have a space at the event for display, selling or discussion point. If you’d like to be included, please fill in the response form below!
