All profits go towards everything the Civic Society does, including: running guided walk and guest speaker events, planting trees; Beeston Street Art, SkillFest, Design Awards; keeping an eye on local planning and development; saving buildings from demolition; Blue Plaques; collaborating to create Broxtowe’s Local Heritage List; hosting heritage events,; nature campaigning; supporting local grassroots projects with fiscal hosting (e.g. Beeston Repair Cafe, Beeston Library of Things), and running this quiz!
