What is Heritage Open Days?
Heritage Open Days is England’s largest community led festival of history and culture, involving thousands of local volunteers and organisations. Every year in September it brings people together to celebrate their heritage, community and history. Stories are told, traditions explored, and histories brought to life. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.
The theme for 2023’s HOD is Creativity Unwrapped.
Heritage exhibitors, creatives and producers wanted!
As part of the event, we wish to include exhibitions and stalls by local organisations, groups, producers, and interested parties – perhaps those who’d like to be involved in Heritage Open Days but are not able to host an event themselves.
Are you are a heritage crafter, hobbyist or maker?
Involved in creating traditional or heritage products?
Do you havetraditional or heritage craftsmanship skills (e.g. pargeting, lime rendering, woodcrafts, lacemaking or weaving), or are an expert in local history and would like to exhibit or sell your products?
We would like to invite you / your organisation to have a space at the event for display, selling or discussion point. If you’d like to be included, please fill in the response form below!
