Landscape Architect Chryse Tinsley takes a look at the reality of Listed building protection and our Local Heritage List (LHL).
14 OCTOBER 2026. Doors from 6:35pm
Chryse will explain how the local list is developing, and tell some fascinating stories from her findings thus far. If you came to our whoppingly packed guided walk by Chryse and Toby Ebbs – you’ll not want to miss this, as Chryse is able to dive a bit deeper into the detail and there’s opportunity to share your local history stories, suggestions and insights too.

*plus it’s our AGM!
We’ll fill you in on all the stuff we’ve been doing this last twelve months; elect our Committee team for the year, and generally walk about pretty chuffed with ourselves.
There’s always more to do, though – so if you would like to join the team, or volunteer to help in one of our sub groups (planning, natural environment, energy, events, or stewarding at walks or Light Night..) get in touch.
Members should receive their AGM pack this week, ahead of the night. Look out for it, pursue it, and send us any questions or matters you’d like us to discuss on the night.
To nominate yourself (or someone else) to stand as a Committee member (executive or general member), go online and fill in our form: beestoncivicsociety.org.uk/join-the-committee.
