Continuum Beeston – Stop Press!

Stop Press, we’ve received the following list from John Delaney from the Town Centre Planning Committee. This is the council’s own list. We are hoping to publish further ideas from New Deal public meeting, and what the Continuum group have received from Beeston residents in due course.

In the meantime, we invite everyone (and we mean everyone) to review and comment on this post about the council’s list below. The more feedback, the better to get the best for Beeston post tram.

  1. All good, except 1 floodlights, save power, 2 Christmas decs ditto, 3 extra street furniture like welcome, interpretation boards, we need less clutter not more, 4 big screen, horrors, means noise, adverts, stuff no-one will watch, clutter, we need to give appearance of market town, confident not desperate.

  2. Forgot to say in my last, we have to be aware of great changes on Chilwell Road – change of use of the police station and of Chilwell Rd Methodist Church. The latter is our biggest venue for concerts at the moment, and U3A use it extensively.

  3. Having read this I believed it was really informative.
I appreciate you finding the time and effort to
put this informative article together. I once again find myself personally spending a
lot of time both reading and leaving comments.
But so what, it was still worthwhile!
